Their just as interesting depending on one's preferences.īut now to the point. all made by different authors. Just because their non-canon, does that make them any less enjoyable to EVA fans? Nope. Angelic Days, Campus Apocalypse, Ikari Shinji Detective Stories, Ikari Shinji Raising Project, ANIMA: Three Years After. And since it came 1st a whole year before the anime, it's what I refer to as "True Canon". I personally prefer the manga. The manga by Sadamoto Yoshiyuki is canon. But that's just my opinion.Įvangelion: Manga, Anime, & Theatrical Series. All 3 are canon. And it looks way more intimidating then SSJG & SSJGSSJ. No matter what any "purist" might say about it. Anyway, I hear this everywhere on the internet & in real life on the subject of DBGT not being canon to the Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z storyline because Toriyama Akira had very little involvement in it aside from character designs & there is no manga for it. DBZ Kai over the original DBZ dub since Kai is more accurate to the manga & the dialogue is cleaner. Namely, Dragon Ball & Evangelion.ĭragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, & Dragon Ball GT. ![]() ![]() Is it canon to the original Showa Era? Or are some of the instalments canon to themselves? Are they non-canon because they weren't made by Ishinomori Shotaro? To explain why I'm thinking of this, I'll compare the canon & non-canon arguments of 2 franchises I know. But in all seriousness, this is pertaining to Kamen Rider's Heisei Era. What ya gonna do about it? Come at me, Bro! LOL. This thought came to me today as I was thinking about Dragon Ball GT & how bad-ass SSJ4 Goku looks. ![]()
